Now I needed a template for the next bit. The discarded door should provide suitable material...


And it did! The piece of off-cut was cut to shape and marked out ready for drilling. This piece of plastic will serve two purposes. The first is as a template...

The template was used to mark the holes for more tubes on the base section of the front panel.

And drilled using the same method as for the previous tubes. A quick test fit ensued.


Looking good. You may have noticed.....the template now doubles as a top retainer for the tubes. Two for the price of one. Cost cutting at its best!

Now it's starting to take shape.
